Soap for the Home
Liquid soaps are a relatively new technology. They have become mainstream early-mid 20th century in conjunction with the manufacturing and development of plastic packaging.
The recipe we use dates back to the 16th century, a time where people used one bar of soap for all home and body washing, including: laundry, counters, floors, dishes, as well as hair and body. We have preserved the integrity of the original recipe in purity of ingredients and the simplicity of the cold, hand crafted soap making process. To accommodate modern expectations and give an outlet to our creativity, we have chosen to make separate products for different uses.
All Purpose bar can be used for any purpose, we suggest using it as a dish and house cleaning soap. It contains green clay that makes the soap more, heavy duty soap that will fair better with such cleaning tasks than any other of our soaps.
The Delicate Wash is made from our signature olive oil base with just a light touch of organic cedar essential oil. It makes the perfect soap for delicate and woolen fabrics. The organic, first cold press, olive oil respects the natural fibers and will wash them without being abrasive to materials. The cedar essential oil is a natural moths repellent and leaves behind a clean scent.
The Soaptivist is the most basic soap we make. It's 100% organic olive oil. We believe that if you change your habits to use bar soap to clean your home, you have shifted your mindset around sustainability. This is health and environmental activism through you choice to clean with non-toxic, plastic free, minimal packaged soap!
